Gordon Turner has been playing the drums since he was 9. During this time he has performed with many of scotland's leading school, local authority and university ensembles, including the Park Mains High School Concert Bands, Stage Bands and Choirs, the 1st Renfrewshire Brass Band, and the 1st renfrewshire county band.

In 2004 he was accepted to study at the University of Strathclyde. Undertaking a Bachelor's degree in Applied Music, Gordon studied guitar as his first instrument, and later specified in Sound Engineering and Music Technology. As part of the University of Strathclyde Guitar Ensemble, he has performed at many of Glasgow's most prestigious venues, including the Barony Hall and the Royal Academy of Music and Drama.

He recently graduated with a BA(Hons.), and is currently a session musician and guitar teacher.
