The Reel Fling were in festive mood for the first of two Christmas dances that we are doing for Greenock Academy. Tonight's dance was for third and fourth year and it was great to see everybody on the floor enjoying themselves for all three hours of the ceilidh and that also included the teachers too!

14th December
Sunday saw us back once again at the family run garden centre in Cardross. This is now the third time we have played for Ardardan's annual christmas party and yet again it did not disappoint! A packed dance floor, fantastic atmosphere and great hospitality made the evening a night to remember once again. The band is already looking forward to next years Chrstmas party!

6th December
It's not every day we get a chance to play in the Kelvingrove Art Gallery so when the company Turner and Townsend asked us we jumped at the chance. The night was everything we hoped for: a great atmosphere, a packed dance floor and of course the music was pretty good!

28th, 29th and 30th November
Another busy weekend for the Reel Fling!
Friday the 28th was spent in the Scores Hotel entertaining the university of St Andrews sports clubs, aptly named the 'Adrenalin Ball'. We were unusually late home (4.30am) and freezing cold as well, but the night was a huge success.
On Saturday the 29th we played at an anniversary party held in the Beardmore hotel in Clydebank. We were privileged enough to play along side a guest drummer Robert Forrest who helped make the night very entertaining.
On Sunday the 30th we played in the Loft on Ashton lane. It was a great venue for us to play on St Andrews night and we had great reports from everyone who was there (and the people from the street). A big thanks to the staff for all their help and for making it such a great night.
